Barcelona Provincial Court May 4th, 2004, which states:

"Although the Consolidated Copyright Act does not expressly protect the works of architecture (which the legislature has not wanted to mention, unlike the Berne Convention, which does refer to them as works eligible for protection), but only the preparatory elements of the same (the art. 10.1.f of TRLPI explicitly protected,projects, plans, models and architectural designs), the feeling of the majority doctrine supports the consideration of the architectural work as the work protected, if it has a sufficient degree of originality (according to art. 10 TRLPI). Thus, projects,plans, models and architectural and engineering designs will be protected against reproduction, distribution or public communication, and also with respect to the execution or implementation effective action through the construction of the project projected them, models or design. "
